Job Summary
The SRC Manager is the highest student authority on duty and is responsible for the smooth operation of the Student Recreation Center on a daily basis. The SRC Manager must know all policies of the Student Recreation Center and make decisions based on previous experience and the general philosophy and mission of the Center. SRC Managers may make exceptions to the policies and procedures based on the recreation department philosophy and mission and considering specific details of a situation. The SRC Manager supervises all other student employees in the absence of staff. The SRC Manager may also confer with the staff while making decisions on a particular situation.

Responsibilities
Operation of entire facility on a daily basis.
Knowledge of philosophical foundation of the SRC and The recreation department.
Knowledge of operational policies and procedures, including basic knowledge of the Sportsmen’s Management System.
Awareness of all employee job descriptions.
Perform functions of other employees in their absence or for additional help.
Frequent inspection of sport equipment and facility.
Maintain positive relations and rapport with members of the recreation department.
(PR representative -- serving as a liaison between SRC and its members or guests).
Perform general maintenance/custodial functions.
Provide first aid in emergency situations and complete annual blood borne pathogen training.
Ensuring the rotation of all floor supervisors to each station during peak usage within the facility

JOB DESCRIPTION: Floor Supervisor – SRC
Job Summary
The Floor Supervisor is a student employee involved in assisting users of the Student Recreation Center in various activity areas by providing information, general maintenance/custodial and any weight room supervision in those areas. The Floor Supervisor represents the policies and rules of the Student Recreation Center and is a general trouble-shooter on the floor. The Floor Supervisor is NOT a weight-training expert. These students are on duty to stress safety and proper use of all equipment, as well as answer patron questions.

Job Responsibilities
Expertise in regard to the physical layout of the Student Recreation Center and tour guide training.
Knowledge of all rules and regulations
Performing minor maintenance/custodial duties in weight areas
General supervision of all activity in the facility.
Clean and maintain all weight equipment.
Regular inspection of all weight equipment.
Maintain positive relations and rapport with patrons.
Make participation head counts during regular rounds.
Supervision of all activity while stressing safety and proper use of equipment.
Provide first aid in emergency situations and complete annual blood borne pathogen training.
Performing Set-Up and Tear-down of equipment and storage in its proper area.
During peak usage times remain in all designated stations (i.e. Gallery, weight room, and Courts)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Customer Service Representative – SRC
Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) handles court reservations, the selling of guest passes, checking entry of members and making a log of entries each half-hour, answering phones, assisting with memberships and CSM duties and answering questions from the public. The CSR is also able to be in contact with the Floor Supervisors and SRC Manager to handle emergency situations.

The Fitness Tech Manger is responsible for monetary and merchandise accountability in the weight room as well as the supervision of Equipment Room Staff. Other duties include recording sales statistics, purchasing recommendations, salesperson duties, knowledge of the equipment items, and knowledge of the entire Equipment Room operation. The person is left in charge of the Equipment Room area in the absence of the Facility Manager.

Job Summary
The Equipment Room Supervisors are responsible for issuing equipment upon request. Other duties include keeping the laundry clean and well-stocked, scheduled checks of the locker rooms, maintaining equipment, and making reservations for fitness assessments. Another important task is issuing locks and lockers at the beginning of each semester.
